ZOOT was built by a working DJ who got tired of prepping sets in a spreadsheet and digging through folders for a track in the right key.
Everything in it comes from real prep: start on a key and stay in it, hold the energy where you want it, keep the same artist from turning up twice in ten minutes, and know how long a set actually runs before you play it.
No accounts. No cloud. No subscription. Your music never leaves your phone.
Point ZOOT at the folder your music lives in, then pick the sub-folders you want included. Nothing is copied or moved — it reads the files you already have.
ZOOT listens to each track and works out its BPM, musical key (shown in Mixkey notation) and energy. This runs on the phone itself, so it takes a while the first time — start it and leave it. You only do it once.
Tap New Playlist and pick how you want to build. Tell it how long the set should run, choose an energy flow, and ZOOT fills it with tracks that mix — in key, in tempo, and in the right order.
Play the set in ZOOT, or export the playlist to use elsewhere.
